Greetings my admirable hobbits!
It’s been many months without any substantial update for the Great British Hobbit League because…. well, there hasn’t been anything to update you with. But I come to you now at the turning of the tide! Finally some good news in the league, we can finally announce the arrival of Next Year’s league timetable.
With many events cancelled this last year, I know you’re all looking forward to next year’s tournaments. We’ve got a full compliment of tournaments, starting as early as January… (well… we’ll see). There’s Cardiff (Into the West) which will kick off the league with a smaller points tournament (450pts).
The Good Vs Evil Setup should provide some interesting matchups, especially with three new rulebooks since its last event. But there are also more unusual ones on the way, including the King’s Call to Arms in early February. This is a fantastic tournament wherein players build a Battle Company from the SBG expansion, go to war with it, and then flesh it out into a full army on day 2.
There’s also the arrival rescheduled tournaments such as the Scouring of Cheshire, and Lord of the Imps which have been hit by the pandemic.
