GBHL Rankings Moving to TableTop Admiral
The GBHL team is pleased to announce an exciting development for the future of league rankings.
Following extensive work behind the scenes, GBHL rankings will now be hosted on TableTop Admiral (TTA), providing a more streamlined, accessible and efficient way of tracking player performance throughout the season.
This move will see the Overall GBHL Rankings, Regional Rankings, Team Rankings, and Newcomer Rankings all managed through the TableTop Admiral platform. Best Painted and Most Sporting standings will continue to be hosted on the GBHL website for the time being.
A huge thank you goes to Andrew and the TableTop Admiral team for helping make this possible.
Preview the New Rankings
To showcase the new system and gather feedback from the community, an initial set of rankings is now available to view.
Please note that the current rankings are not a complete representation of the 2026 season. The data currently displayed includes events that have been run through TableTop Admiral during 2026, along with several custom events that have been added for testing purposes.
The rankings are therefore intended as a demonstration of the system rather than an official reflection of the current league standings.

We Want Your Feedback
As this is the first public preview of the new rankings platform, we'd encourage everyone to have a look through the standings and let us know if you spot any issues, inaccuracies or bugs.
Community feedback will be invaluable in helping us ensure everything is working correctly before the system is fully implemented.
If you notice anything that doesn't look quite right, please get in touch with the GBHL team so it can be investigated.
Faster Updates for Events
One of the biggest advantages of moving to TableTop Admiral is the speed at which rankings can be updated.
Events run through TTA can be integrated into the GBHL rankings significantly faster than before, helping us keep standings up to date throughout the season and reducing the administrative workload involved in processing results.
However, we are not mandating that all GBHL events must be run through TableTop Admiral.
Tournament Organisers are free to continue using whichever event management platform works best for them. While we would encourage organisers to consider using TTA due to the benefits it offers for rankings integration, event administration and army list management, there is no requirement for GBHL events to be hosted on the platform.
For those organisers who do choose to run events through TTA, there will be a few minor housekeeping steps required to ensure results are correctly imported into the GBHL rankings. Many organisers are already doing these as part of their normal event setup.
The Rankings Officer will be reaching out and providing guidance over the coming months, but the main requirements will be:
Assigning the correct GBHL league or region to your event.
Ensuring the event is marked as completed once the final round has been finished.
These small steps will help ensure rankings are updated accurately and as quickly as possible.
Our goal is to make rankings updates faster and more accurate while maintaining flexibility for organisers and players across the community.
Looking Ahead to 2027
To help ensure a smooth transition for next season, we'd appreciate the support of the community.
Before the 2027 season begins, players are encouraged to:
Create a TableTop Admiral account if they do not already have one.
Use a single TTA account for all event registrations.
Avoid signing up to events using multiple accounts.
Having a consistent player profile will help maintain accurate rankings and reduce administrative work when processing results.
Team Rankings Requirement
Please note: Any player wishing to represent a GBHL Team in 2027 will be required to have a TableTop Admiral account before the team registration cutoff date. The provisional deadline is currently 28th February 2027, although this may be reviewed before the season begins.
The Future of GBHL Rankings
This is an exciting step forward for the GBHL and will provide a more modern, flexible and transparent rankings experience for players, teams and event organisers alike.
While TableTop Admiral will now host the GBHL rankings, the league remains committed to supporting organisers regardless of which tournament software they choose to use. The platform is recommended, but not required.
We're looking forward to continuing to develop the system with your feedback and support, and we hope you'll enjoy taking your first look at the future of GBHL rankings.
Take a look through the preview rankings, explore your region, and let us know what you think!
